Someone should have told him that the Godfather was a warning, not a role model.
Erik Prince, already facing a federal probe for his company’s actions in Iraq, has been implicated in the murder of employees cooperating with the investigation. It also shows that several employees of his claim him to be a “Christian crusader, out to rid the world of Muslims.”
I was never comfortable with the idea of a mercenary company running operations in Iraq, and this only confirms my suspicions. If he is guilty of this, then may his punishment be as harsh as possible. Essentially, if what this says is true, Prince has taken this mercenary group and turned it into little more than terrorists.
The irony of his name is that in Machiavelli’s “The Prince,” it is advised to never hire mercenaries. Sound advice.
